The Pro V1x 2016 has a firmer feel and effectively penetrates a higher launch and more long game spin than the V1 model. The Pro V1x ball is comprised of a distinctive four-piece, multi-component technology with a ZG process dual core and a spherically tiled 328 tetrahedral dimple design. In terms of appearance: both the Pro V1 and Pro V1x 2016
No such thing as a dumb question. I've hit both balls and I noticed two things when it comes to differences. First is feel as the Velocity is a lot firmer feel than both the ProV1's. Second is greenside spin. Even though the Velocity checks it doesn't spin nearly as much as either ProV1. Please sign in to comment.
Here are some differences between the two: Manufacturing process: Kirkland golf balls are manufactured in China, while pro v1 is manufactured in the USA. Performance: Pro v1 has more spin around the green with less driver spin, while Kirkland golf balls have lower wedge spin but more driver spin.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The Titleist Pro V1 and V1x debut new flagship versions for 2023. Golf’s top-selling balls and most played models in professional golf reveal a new core design, as well as a larger inner core on the Pro V1x. Those new formulations create a new stiffness profile within the cores to increase the potential for ball speed
I tried the NXT Tour's and the ProV1's, and the ProV1x's are still my favorite. If you are looking for more short game control, the ProV1 is going to provide more control and spin around the greens than the other two are. The ProV1x's will fly further with less spin, which is really the main difference.
